Image Optimization Setup is a done-for-you service where I clean up your entire WordPress media library and set up a system that automatically optimizes everything you upload from here on out.

One honest note before we go further: images are one of the biggest, most common culprits behind a slow site, but they’re not the only possible one. Hosting, plugins, and theme bloat can all play a part too. What I can promise is that your media library will be properly optimized and stop being part of the problem.

What I can’t promise is that this alone will fix every speed issue on your site, since I’m not able to guarantee outcomes I don’t have full control over.

We hop on a call

A quick Google Meet where we go through exactly what you need and talk through any questions on your end.

You get a clear price and a contract

You'll get a price proposal and a simple contract. This covers the details of the work and keeps us both protected. Once it's signed and I have the access I need, I can start working on your site.

I'll get to work

I diagnose which images are hurting your site the most, optimize and compress your entire library (including manually handling the biggest offenders), set up a system so every future upload is optimized automatically, and clean up alt text on your highest-visibility images along the way.

You get a report

Once everything's done, I'll send you a clear summary showing your site's load time before and after, how much smaller your media library is, and exactly what was done, so you have a record of the work and know what (if anything) to do differently going forward.

What if some of my images are already optimized?

That’s totally fine. I’ll only do what’s actually missing, not duplicate work you don’t need.

Will this make my site fast?

It’ll remove one of the biggest common causes of slow load times. If something else is also going on, like hosting or a heavy theme, that would need separate attention. I’ll always tell you what I find.

Can't I just install a plugin and do this myself?

Yes, but most plugins still require you to understand settings and compression levels, and they won’t catch everything. I also go in manually for your biggest, worst-offending images: compressing, resizing, converting to WebP, and replacing them by hand. That’s the part a plugin alone won’t do for you.

What access do you actually need?

At minimum, WordPress admin access. We’ll go through exactly what’s needed for your setup on our call.

Will you also optimize my images for SEO?

If you’d like, absolutely. I can add or optimize your alt text as part of the process, just let me know during the call.
